Canadian label Lazuli Records marks 100th release with techno stomper, “We Own the Night, Vol. 5”

 
Released on March 31st, this compilation album represents a “melodic milestone” for the label, and covers the full spectrum of techno music. Featuring 16 rolling tracks, this record includes an outstanding lineup of international artists, with the end result being a collection of clubready, underground floor-smashers…

Whether it’s deep, dark, melodic, or hypnotic – peaktime or Berlin techno, “We Own The Night, Vol. 5” has something for the techno lover of any stripe.

Here’s what label boss, Aldo (Heatscore) had to say about the album:

What started off as a project to release my own tracks and a place where I could experiment until I found my sound, quickly became a respected underground international record label with acclaimed support. We could have never done this without our incredible artists and amazing fans.

To commemorate our 100th anniversary release, we will be releasing an incredible 16 track compilation record with new and old faces from around the world.

With that said, we’d like to welcome to our family Annie Hill (Airborne Black, IAMT, Orange Recordings, Gain), DALLATURKA (IAMT, Ethereal Future Music, Sinedie Underground), Lucas White (Svstain, IAMT, Reload Black, Animarum, Future Techno) & Toronto natives Deimos & Phobos (IAMT).

Along with them we have our label founder Heatscore, Dystopic, Klankwerken, WSTND, Oscar Sanchez, ARIINA, PHOS/PHATE, Jayy P, Soraere Brocken, Jana Greenstone, and Christian Nati.

The album covers all spectrums of techno, and in my opinion is a true representation of what Lazuli Records has become.
