Take Your Light
With Nurko, Star Seed Remix
The opening track is already a marvel, and so is this amazing remix. Star Seed brings their unique, and signature sound, blended with Haliene’s mesmerizing vocals and lyrics. Building up, and then cascading, followed by a rising energy. Throughout this remix, it feels like a rebirth, an evolution, and an expansion. Also midway into this mix, it breaks down, then reforms into something new, like a star starting small, then bursting with light.
Take Your Light
With Nurko, Aaron Shirk Remix
The second remix of this incredible song. Building a melody, of dancing lights and sounds, with glow sticks beaming across a crowd. Then a rapid beat flows, and releases, it is burst of energy that is remarkable, and with so much hype, and energy. Shifting into a lighter vibe, yet keeping anticipation, and lets it go. Aaron Shirk’s remix is a fun surprise, especially the range it has throughout the mix, and near the end.
Take Your Light
With Nurko, Julian Gray Remix
Taking a different opening, a melody that grows within the vocals, shifting in tone while getting faster. Forming an electro, progressive house hybrid sound, as a piano begins to key in with the melody, becoming something new. A remix you will want to raise your hands in the air, and let it take you away.
Memory of You
Hidden Axis Remix
A moody melody opens up, with a piano, then drums resonate, shifting with the tone of the song. With the sound changing, breaking down, then it becomes faster, energized, and bursts from the seams, breakbeats, then a calm.
There are so many layers within this remix, it flows perfectly with Haliene’s vocals. It feels like waves forming, shaping, then breaking down, becoming an echo.
Memory of You
CHPTR Remix
A melodic, symphonic rendition of this remarkable song. Then it transforms, taking on a different sound style. Blending with the original mix, while making a hybrid, a breakdown of Haliene’s vocals, that become the melody itself, as if on two sides of the water, one above, and the other one beneath the waves. A beautiful, and powerful remix that sings to your soul.
Castles in the Sand
Nikademis Remix
Opening with a different energy on this heart filled tune, with Haliene’s voice being the lead instrument. Everything else fades away, then flows together, like the waves crashing onto a beach. Forming something new, then changes shape once more. A remix that changes throughout, and it feels so good to just breathe, and listen. Then it surprises at the end, morphing into something totally unexpected, you do not want it to end.
Water
With Kill the Noise, Celestial Void Remix
The last track from the original album, but oh my is it breathtaking. This remix opens with a melodic, and other instruments you would not expect: a flute? then it breaks down with the vocals, then shifts and forms into an dubstep. Orchestral dubstep? Is that a thing? Then it becomes something else, a journey of electronic genres. I cannot put enough words down to describe this. It is wild, and I love it
Water
With Kill the Noise, Kepik Remix
The last track, from this amazing remix album. Beginning with the sound of raindrops, trickling, making shapes, then waves rush in, with the sound of drums becoming a battle cry. Taking on a whole new sound style, shifting, breaking down, then getting faster. This remix also takes the listener through a journey of electronic music, it is more than one genre, and it is beautiful.
“Water” The Remixes is a phenomenal album, and it compliments the original releases on another level. From the energy, feels, and intensity. From the first to last track, it is a deep dive, definitely worth taking. And it is available now.
