Toronto-based DJ and producer Adam James showcases his signature depth with his latest release on Simmetry Sounds, “The Way You Move.” Striking a perfect balance between shadow and light, the title track leans heavily into a dark, driving atmosphere that’s softened by intricate synths and a compelling vocal hook that anchors the groove. This solo work highlights his individual mastery of melodic techno, blending his classical roots with the gritty, hypnotic pulse of the underground.

The release also features the second track, “Rave Genny,” a bouncy melodic techno track that complements the mood with its energetic rhythm and vibrant synth work. Together, both tracks highlight a sophisticated range designed for the dance floor, capturing the energy of the warehouse circuit and marking another standout addition to the Simmetry Sounds catalog.
