Mortal Kombat: The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

Album: Mortal Kombat: The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
Various Artists
London Records, TVT Records (sadly went out of business)
1995

With the arrival of the film, a soundtrack came to be. Exploring different genres, but also connecting to every moment of the film: calm, intense, nightmares, darkness, hope, fear, rivalry, existence, and redemption. It went beyond any regular soundtrack, it connected more to the characters throughout the film, but also the fight scenes and their intensity. Also the villains of the tale, that energy emerges every time they appear on screen. To eventually the endgame battle, where the theme song kicks in.

Also wild, you will hear every song within the film runtime. Some may play in a small snippet, but every track has a part throughout, whether it be a driven, focused, action, or dramatic scene. The album was released worldwide, plus in various formats: CD and Cassette, but not on vinyl. It is also available on Spotify, and Apple Music.
