Otographic Music is a Japan-based label established by Kenji Sekiguchi in 2009.
Our mission is to continue releasing electronic dance music tracks with high quality and originality. Following a line of musical cultures, and finally handing down every results of our activities to the future generation.
Otographic comes from oto (sounds, audio, or tones in Japanese) and graphic. It means “graphics drawn by sounds”.
We gave this name in hope that artists put their minds, feelings and emotions into their sound works that stick out in your mind for all time. What Otographic Music emphasizes most is that all artists should achieve their best at the time. That’s why we do everything to support their activities as best as we can. We keep trying to spread not only their productions but also their spirit to more and more people. By making new fans, we find and nurture the artists who will bear the future dance music scene.
We pursue not only publishing musical productions, but also investigating technologies of producing, live-performing, and managing a label. Our general purpose is just to make a contribution to the development of musical cultures.
