New album from Tritonal, “Coalesce”

New blockbuster album, “Coalesce,” drops September 8th from Tritonal.

Tour in support of album kicks off in LA, August 27.

Album sampler YouTube playlist:

Well, from the opening track, “Welcome Home” (with Panache Desai), Tritonal promises that the listener is about to “embark on a journey — a journey beyond the mind, beyond the identity, beyond all that you know, a journey- of DISCOVERY…” And a musical journey it is indeed: of energetic melodies, lovely vocals, majestic beats, and inspiring sounds. The boys of Tritonal have crafted a masterpiece, a chez d’oeuvre that includes 18 fine and stylistically varied tunes.

HERE’S A BREAKDOWN OF SELECT TRACKS:
“Something Beautiful” (with Eric Lumiere) is a lovely, melodic vocal edm track that has an air of nostalgia to it, and takes you back to warm & pleasant memories of times past.

“Superhuman” (produced in collaboration with UK artist, Codeko, with vocals by Nashville-based Brett Truit) also has a definitive feel-good vibe to it. From its opening gently-pulsing arepeggios, to the edm-oriented pick-me-up stomping section accompanied by smooth guitars, to the vocal swell sections interspersed in between, “Superhuman” is a future mellow bigroom hit.

Check out the really cool animated music video for this track:

“Safe & Sound” is a super collab between Denver natives, Last Heroes, and extremely-talented, LA-based singer/songwriter Lizzy Land.

Proceeding with the theme of internal realization, settling into comfort in the chaos of discomfort and finding faith in this very moment. The song’s message signifies the power of the heart and of the present stillness, where no past or future have a relevance.

“Back To My Love” (with Marlhy) is a rousing & pulsating track with driving beats and melodies. The solid vocals of Marlhy really work well to accentuate the track and punch delightfully through the backbeat.

“Out Of The Dark” with EMME is a simply lovely track that rises up steadily to enchant and excite you.

“Signals,” featuring Sarah de Warren, is a delicate track that also a has a nice build-up and “digs deep into the ethereal element of Coalesce…”

Chrysalis (Two To One) with Linney, Johan Vilborg, and Adam Szabo – man, WHAT A COOL TRACK! Crunchy synths, shifting basslines, coupled with the soaring vocals of Linney.

“Waterboiler” breaks into the scene with its bristling beats, followed by an interesting, “melodical synth” track development, settling back into the theme of its dramatic opening.

“Mellifluous” – a beautiful little track that glides and swirls through the atmosphere and serves as a perfect interlude between all the moods and tones of the album’s tracks .

“Keep My Dreams Alive” with Susie Ledge – an inspiring song of hope & encouragement. Beautiful vocal work by Susie Ledge.

“Live In The Sky” with Eric Lumiere – a rousing uplifting, ballad-style song that tells a story.

“Losing My Mind” with the one and only HALIENE is a track we’ve featured before on Electrofans as Selection of the Week. The smooth and lovely vocals of Haliene, together with Tritonal providing the musical backdrop, serves as an effective one-two punch.

All in all, ‘Coalesce’ from Tritonal is a grand piece of work: an easily accessible magnum opus filled with sounds that will delight and inspire a wide variety of dance music fans.
