What started out as an indie darling, lead to awesome crossovers including the Legend of Zelda series. A rhythm game where you fought the undead, and other creatures of the unknown. But in this entry, it takes on a different form. Imagine if Guitar Hero crossed over with a funky, groovy, and cool sounding soundtrack that was not just limited to rock songs. “Rift of the Necrodancer” is a unique spin of the rhythm game genre, you have never played a game quite like this.

The most wicked part of the entire soundtrack? No two songs sound alike, each one delivers a unique sound style. All 48 songs are a compilation from past game entries. Some are remixes, and original tracks exclusive to this wicked title.

Your informative screen, how to play the game. Driven by a melody that soothes the bones.

It may be a disaster in the track title, but it feels like a lost song from an action/platformer game from the past.

4) Electrical Conduits (Intro), by Danny Baranowsky
Let’s get going!!

Streets of Rage, Ristar, and Sonic Mania style all rolled into one. Funky, groovy, and club?! Yes!!

Castlevania / Daft Punk?! Alex you madman that was brilliant!

16) Insta-Jam, by Danny Baranowsky
A surprisingly happy vibe, with synth energy throughout. Feels like a lost Sega Genesis song.

Something from the past, a synthy lead beach blanket bingo style too. Even with a spoofy motif, it still sounds fun.

A bit of rock, funk, and soul. Jazz? A spooktacularly good time

19) Overthinker, by Jules Conroy

An arcade Shmup (shoot em up) style beat, fast, hard, and beat heavy with drops

A flute, drums, and a guitar duet, creating a powerful song.

39) Return of the Riff, by Danny Baranowsky

Delivers a feeling of being in a cyberpunk style world. It is lit up with neon signs, cars that hover. And the fashion is wearing some funky looking shades. Electronica at its finest.

A spooky, but intriguing nod your head beat you feel throughout the song.

42) The King of Burgers, by Danny Baranowsky

43) Baboosh, by Danny Baranowsky & Josie Brechner
Reminds me of a track from the future racer Wip3out. Also contains breaks mid way, and shifts into a faster melody.

Another epic tune, with a guitar riff from the gods

45) Yoga Coda, by Danny Baranowsky

Another Streets of Rage inspired tune. Definitely delivers a final boss vibe. High energy, with a beat motivating you to keep going, even when it gets tougher.

Funky, groovy, happy vibes. Must be the score ranking screen.

48) Portamello, by Danny Baranowsky
A spooky track, that could totally be from Silent Hill. But it also feels like its being played on a record. A song lost to time, that has so many layers.
