Stalwart Tokyo based master producer and DJ Masanori Morita & Noboru Abe, aka STUDIO APARTMENT readies the next release on ever building imprint N.E.O.N. Here he offers up the original track from the spellbinding 2020~ album, entitled ‘Anunnaki’, featuring frequent collaborator and vocalist MAUMA. Enlisting two fantastic remixes from Tokyo based duo Kandarta.
Following with fellow Tokyoites Kandarta’s mesmerising remix, which embodies a true sense of entrancement from the onset.
Oscillating bass-tones meet incisions of rhythmic juxtaposition from the shimmering ride cymbals and quivering 16th note hi-hats.
While a dreamlike synth lead dominates the centre stage, a mass of pulsing counter-harmonies presents a relationship of pure enrapture.
The duo’s archetypal sonics hit the mark with this futuristic take on STUDIO APARTMENT and MAUMA’s earthy, wholesome original, presenting new tones and unparalleled states of body-highs throughout.
