EML Recordings / EDM Addicts proudly presents a remix contest for “Broken” by the legendary First Lady Of Trance Jan Johnston and up-and-coming superstar, Lorna James.

How it works
• Each artist may submit one remix
• All submissions will be reviewed by the label and the artists
• 30 remixes will be selected to feature in a live showcase on
• EDM Addicts Radio (Date TBC)
• https://www.edmaddict.com
During the live show:
• Each selected remix will be played in full
• Listeners and participants in the live chat will rate each remix out of 10
• Scores will be averaged based on the number of voters
Release opportunity
• The 16 highest-rated remixes will be selected for an official remix compilation
• The compilation is scheduled for release in the summer of 2026.
Fair & transparent royalty split
• This is a fair remix contest.
• All royalty income from the remix compilation will be split equally, meaning:
• Jan Johnston
• Lorna James
• The label
• Each individual remixer
All parties receive the same share for each remix included.
