Album Review “The Lost Art Of Longing” by BT

This new album, following past works, is something unique and different. No need for comparison, it is a blend of experimental, vision, wonder, dreams, hopes, and faith, love, and beyond. In the past, BT’s sound style was immersed by the times, from many influences. In recent years, that concept has evolved from what most will recognize. It is an album based on growth, change, maturity, self expression, and the ability to create something no one expects, a different from the norm that is out now.

Most fans will remember familiar sound styles in the past, but this is quite different. A blend of new melodies, technology, and many amazing talents. But these are tracks that have their own heart, soul, energy, and vibrancy. It is a 21 track album filled with amazing vibes, connectivity, and imagination you will not find anywhere else.

With tracks featuring vocals by:
Brenna MacQuarrie
Nation of One
Mangal Suvarnan
Iraina Mancini
Lola Rhodes
April Bender
Christian Burns
Emma Hewitt

Each track has its own sound style, and also the melody from each track connects to the next corresponding song. Similar to past albums, but it also gives it character, drifting beneath the frequencies, waves, and sound. Plus each vocalist delivers an uplifting, dreamy, energized, dramatic, but also poetic and so many more emotions through their performance. No two are alike, each one is unique with their talent, connecting to the song, and it will give you guaranteed chills. It is f-ing epic, and contains so many feels.

Rare is it to see remixes within the same album, usually released separately. But these are amazing, and an awesome surprise. Each remix of “No Warning Lights” compliments the original track, but delivers a different energy from each remix. Also Emma Hewitt’s vocals shine throughout, but also flow with each remix, blend into the melody, and gain a new energy all their own.

TLAOL is one of those albums that must be heard on headphones, or an incredible surround sound. It is art, energy, and music that will get you moving. This is something the world totally needs right now. And this beautiful work of art is finally here. It is not just an album, but an experience, dive in, enjoy the ride.
