“Eternity” is an album, that is near and dear to the artist’s creative heart. A journey of life, and loss. The flow of time, emotions, sleepless days and nights, but also love. Each song connects to a theme, exploring a moment, a chapter in a loved ones life, and how it impacted hers.
Tracklist:
1) “Crystal Cove”
A feeling, a space, water crashing on the sand, a space to go where no one knows where you are. A place to clear your mind. But it could also be a loved one’s favorite space to be. It could be a dream, or an experience that stays with you forever. A moment where you saw them smile, it brought them joy and peace.
2) “Freya”
A dreamlike state, but also clarity, peace. But it could also be what you see your loved one as. Someone that was strong, courageous, brave, they could do anything. And their heart, and hugs were the best. Their strength, and guidance gave you so much. It stays with you forever, they are always a part of you.
3) “One” [We’d Be Love]
Memories, every note details something wonderful, but also the pain and suffering went through. The lyrics and vocals deliver that feeling, of things slipping away. What a loved ones experiences, seeing beyond before they go. The colors, connections, a euphoric energy that connects to your heart and soul. Like synesthesia, the ability to see colors through music. Love itself is a color, it can change, morph, and transform. How we connect to one another, it expresses itself in so many ways.
4) “Eternity”
The title track of the album. It resonates with a melody, but also notes that grow and shift. It feels like the way we see through someone’s eyes. We see beyond ourselves. But when that color in one’s eyes fade. The thought of what they see, feel, and experience. We can only imagine. This song explores the beyond, as if being teleported away, drawn to some force outside of our control. That pull, a sensation, you feel it within being in the same space, or even miles away. Because of that love, it is powerful.
5) “Gone”
The feeling, tears, pain, it feels like everything hurts. The lyrics deliver plenty of a moment, where it is time to say goodbye. It feels cold, the person you loved is no longer there, but a shell. The words to describe that emptiness, but they are not in pain anymore, but you feel it, it never goes away. Time stands still. Heartbroken. How to keep going.
6) “Endless”
Feels like everything is in flux, memories flood in. Joy, and pain. It all hits all at once. It is difficult to put into words, but picture a vortex of time and space, everything is shifting, changing, every memory constantly morphs into another within your mind. The moment you think of something precious, you cannot help but feel overwhelmed, tears may roll down your cheeks, or a laugh from nowhere. It is one of those sensations, you have no control over, it just happens. It may bring you joy, or sorrow, it is a feeling, that is a part of you, trying to heal.
7) “Gravity”
An irresistable force, sometimes you feel as if you can get through a day. Or sometimes you just come crashing down. A balance of trying to keep going, but there are times when you want to go into a ball and find a space for yourself. A moment to breathe, even through tears. Everything comes to the surface.
8) “Riverside”
A feeling, a warm hug, a smile. Things that bring you joy, even though in pain. Somewhere to go, and clear your mind. But on the surface, everything seems to flow through you. A place, a memory, a space that brings back the good times, a treasure you never want to forget.
9) “Synapse”
Close your eyes, feels like a dream. Entranced. There is focus, but also a mixture of darkness and light. A sensation of the senses, a memory, reliving something as if you are there. You speak, but no one else can hear you.
But somehow you reach out, and that person you lost, they can. They are there, but it is not your time. How did you get here. You reach out as long as possible, that warmth is there again. You awake, but tears roll down your cheek.
Was it real or a dream?
10) “Power”
Meditative state, tranquil state, or the power to keep going, or all of the above. Music is a motivation, but within this song, it is that push to get you moving. Even thought you sometimes feel the strength to keep going has left you, there is something inside, it will boost that negativity away. You have to keep going.
11) “Free”
Love, memories, and losing someone. The lyrics and vocals give this feeling of freefalling, losing grip on what you hold dear. That grip, it hurts so much to let go, you give it all of your strength. This song conveys that emotion, and the tension to hold on, but you can only hold on for so long. When a loved ones says “let me go”. You feel the tears, and pain. To say goodbye, but the words never leave your mind.
12) “When Heaven Calls”
That warmth that was once there, now long gone. Contemplation, clarity, faith. Everything feels like it fades away. Everywhere you go, you see them somewhere. Even though they left this earthly plane, a part of them remains. But he moment they passed, you could feel the person that was once there is no more. Somewhere, in the beyond, their spirit is in another part of existence. A part of them remains, forever in your heart and mind. A warm hug, it brings joy, but also sadness.
13) “Purple Skies”
The last track of this amazing album. There are not enough words to describe. It is a state of mind, a frame of mind, a meditative state to see something so beautiful. Maybe it was a moment you shared with the one you lost. A sky, that appeared different than most days. Or it is gentle reminder, of everything you loved is there. Every time you close your eyes, you see this, a space that forever is a part of your heart.
“Eternity” is available now, and it is a marvelous album.
