Artist Coen Lawrence, aka “True Light,” hails from Brisbane Australia.
His latest single is called “Where.” It’s a futuristic, cinematic number that combines elements of DnB, bass music, and edm, with a rough-around-the-edges intro that smooths together nicely on the buildup, then lets loose for a big finish.

Above is below, in is forward and out is nowhere to be seen in “Where”- a fast paced, neuro-driven, drum and bass anthem filled with mystery and adventure. The second track from True Light’s Halogen EP renders the feeling of shattering illusions, falling through society’s cracks and waking up in an eerie and unfamiliar place. Accepting confusion, letting go of lies and running with the wind. That is the story of “Where,” an anthem for the lost becoming found.

The Hydrogen Jukebox is a fun departure from typical rigid digital performance. Every sample , sound and loop is triggered without being fixed to a grid of any kind to emphasize organic timing. It is shape-able as it is played and can be performed thousands of different ways.
