Recently Sega held an event called SEGA FES (festival) 2018. During the event Sega hosted a #SonicDJLiveSet mixed by Tomoya Ohtani (a music producer / dj who has worked on vgm for several years)
A few years ago, Red Bull Music Academy shared a documentary series called “Digging in the Carts”. It presented the past, and present of vgm and how its shaped the way we listen to music today. Including interviews with well known names, and what influenced their sound styles.
