Amanda Mears, AKA “Mearzie,” is a multi-talented original producer, DJ, and live streamer. Originally from Chicago, now based in Washington, DC, Mearzie effortlessly combines melodic, deep, and progressive house, “with a touch of classic trance vibes.” As a DJ, she’s opened for the likes of: Markus Schulz, Andrew Bayer (Dreamstate USA), Cosmic Gate, Spencer Brown, and M.I.K.E. PUSH, among others.
She has been a mainstay on Nicholas Gunn‘s radio show, Mix 93 FM, in LA.
Here is one of her latest original tracks, “Hymn,” a collab with Nicholas Gunn (Blue Dot Music). You can hear how she interweaves melodic house and progressive house with a deeper, more delicate intricate sound.
