A new chapter
Earlier this year JES announced a new album was on the way, and released several singles too. These new songs have a different energy about them, another side of the artist. Plus she is known to experiment with her vocals, and creativity, and this album showcases her talent within each song, in this amazing ten track album. Also it dabbles in other genres, which makes writing this review a unique one. JES is way more than an electronic artist, she has also dabbled with pop, dance, rock, r&b, and more. Which makes “Dreamer” even more fascinating, it dives into different sound styles, and finds another expression of heart and soul, that the artist is so well known for.
The journey
Within these ten amazing songs, is an artist who is on this road to crafting her art. A canvas, with a painting coming together, with each brush stroke, and colors that add more life to every moment. In her past album it was an exploration of who she was in the past, to now. But here, “Dreamer” showcases her range, creativity, and talents to find a new sound within each track. No two songs sound alike. There is a range of art, that each song conveys, an artist searching with so much to say, and an outlet to share what is inside of her heart.
Plus you can feel the inspiration within some of the tracks, yet they have their own original sound. “Dreamer” feels like an evolution of who JES is as an artist, producer, singer, and songwriter. JES is not defined as one thing, ever, she is so much more.
“Dreamer” is available on all digital stores, and physical on CD, and Vinyl. Available everywhere, and out now
Also there is a webpage, that is the hub for this amazing album, with an upcoming album listening party.
“Dreamer” is a marvel, and a must have in your music library. JES delivers another amazing album, made with love, heart and soul.
