Blugazer Artist Spotlight

Blugazer (Jack Barrile) has been in the electronic music game for some time now. A native of New York City, Jack’s music has a distinctive sound, combining elements of melodic progressive house, trance, chillout, and ambient. In addition to his original productions, he has also done some interesting, sonically-textured re-mixes, such as this re-work of Gregory Esayan’s “Numb Capsule,” and his re-mix of Reiklavik’s “Roxanne”:

Blugazer has released music on Silk Music (primarily), as well as independently on Bandcamp, and received DJ support from such names as Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, Aly & Fila, Tritonal, Paul Van Dyk, Pedro Del Mar, Ashley Wallbridge, Rozza, MIKE, Dash Berlin, Suzy Solar and Manuel Le Saux.

In September of 2019 he joined the Vintage and Morelli debut in NYC.

He has a monthly podcast series called “Illusionary Images,” which just reached the milestone of its 100th episode this month! It’s always a delightful listen where you are sure to find a nice assortment of cool, chilled-out tracks:

His goal with music is to create a unique sound, in essence the auditory embodiment of his dreams. This requires a one man act, and all aspects of the Blugazer sound, from writing to producing and mixing, are done by Jack.

As a natural dreamer, I like to think that I see the world differently than everyone else…
