ZAWA’s biography:
At the age of 20, Koji Aizawa met an album that has fascinated him the rest of his life.
The album is called “The Idiots Are Winning”by James Holden(Border Community), the album which became no point of return for him on Electronic Music.
The boy later named himself as ZAWA.
He is sick of his country’s mood of “Compromising done to the audiences/customers”.
That may produce fulfillment of current desire, but at the sametime will mean fulfillment of potential desire never being able to done.
The latter is what ZAWA tries to achieve through his DJing, with depth of the universe and the trip.
On the second year of his career, he has already performed on the same stage as Japanese Techno Legend, HIROSHI WATANABE aka KAITO at party called Space Traveler at White Space Lab, Shibuya.
As his another honor, ZAWA was chosen as the high ranker of BE THE NEXT, a competition held by WOMB & iFLYER.
His movement seems rather slow.
But therefore, has no end to it as well.
Never possible to define one as a specific genre, but his would be somewhere around Deep House/Progressive House/Melodic House/Deep Tech/Ambient/Techno etc.
Let’s JUDGE whether he can be the one to change the culture of expressing oneself based on reading someone else’s mind.
