ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: namumo

namumo’s biography:

Born in 2001. In April 2022, developed an interest in music composition and started learning digital music production (DTM) on their own. However, due to a lack of prior music experience, they faced difficulties in their production. Recognizing the need for a broader understanding of various music genres and music knowledge to expand their perspective, they decided to start DJing. In December 2022, they were amazed by an innovative Techno DJ who created a groove with their cutting-edge DJ skills, and decided to learn and make it their own genre. Fascinated by electronic music genres like Techno and House, they have now started their on-site activities mainly in Tokyo.

2001年生まれ。2022年4月、楽曲作成に興味を持ち、独学でDTMを開始する。しかし、音楽経験が無かったことから、制作は難航。幅広い音楽のジャンルや音楽知識などが、自らに必要だと思い、価値観を広げるため、DJを始める。

2022年12月、攻めたDJ技術でグルーヴを作り出すテクノDJに衝撃を受け、自分のジャンルとするべく、学び始める。テクノやハウスなどの電子音楽に魅力され、現在では、東京を中心に現場活動を開始している。
