Ko Kimura’s Biography:
ko kimura is a Tokyo-based DJ. He taught himself how to dj in his teens and was one of the very first DJs in Japan. He also he introduced house music to Japan in the mid to late 1980s, created the first mix CD in the country, and became the first Japanese DJ to be part of Bedrock’s compilation series. He remains one of the most influential and sought after DJs today.
In 1997 he founded FUTIC Recordings to represent the very best of House music in Japan, whilst maintaing a busy schedule which saw him play across the whole country.
In 2020 marked the 35th anniversary of Ko’s Djing career as he continues to showcase his outstanding talent across the world.

そのｄｊ歴の殆どを最新の曲を探す事に費やし、独特のグルーヴ感を保ちつつ今も常に前進するそのｄｊスタイルは国内のみならず海外にもファンは多く、国内公演だけでなく海外公演等も積極的に現在敢行中。

Launched by Japanese DJ Ko Kimura in 1997 aiming that Tokyo will be recognized as a top international city to watch out for in global dance scene just as in fashion industry Tokyo is often compared with metropolitan cities like New York, London, or Paris. First 13 releases were vinyl, and since 2007 FUTIC RECORDINGS TOKYO went digital. Most of releases are productions by MODEWARP, unit of Ko Kimura and his studio partner Kazuaki Noguchi but also the label introduces talented Japanese producers.
1997年、DJの木村コウが立ち上げたレーベル。ファッション界ではロンドン・ニューヨーク・パリなどと並び、世界的に新しいトレンドを発信している都市として認知されている国際都市、東京。ダンスミュージックシーンでも同じように東京が認められるべきと考え、スタートした。13タイトルまではアナログ盤でリリース、2007年以降はBeatportを中心にデジタル配信によるリリースを続けている。キムラコウがノグチカズアキと組むユニットMODEWARP（モーディワープ）による楽曲はじめ、才能ある日本人プロデューサーの楽曲をコンスタントにリリース。
2007年に10周年を迎え、レーベル初のコンピレーションをキムラコウによるMIX CD＆UN-MIXEDの２枚組で発表した。
