ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: DJ GOSHIMA

GOSHIMA’s biography:

GOSHIMA is a DJLAB manager who was born in Kyoto. At the entrance of the music, the piano・electro organ was started from the age of 2.That is the influence of his mother who was a teacher. Under the influence of J-HIPHOP such as NITRO MICROPHONE UNDERGROUND in junior high school, he began to dip into HIPHOP.
He formed the HipHop group S.T.S in high school and appeared in various events mainly as MC and WestSide HipHop DJ. Organized Minaku $ aNight for 4 years at Club Move.
Then moved to Osaka and played at ChevalBLUE, Baron, SevenHouse, ALZAR, etc. The Characteristic is to select music in all genres centering on TechHouse. In recent years, bar events such as domus, moxy, SwitchBar and ZERRO are held at a pace of 12 times a month, aiming to develop DJ culture.

GOSHIMA
京都出身。音楽の入り口は講師をしていた母親の影響で2歳からピアノ・エレクトーンを始める。中学時代NITRO MICROPHONE UNDERGROUND等J-HIPHOPに影響を受け HIPHOPに浸り始める。高校時代HipHopグループS.T.Sを結成し主にMC，WestSideHipHop DJとして各イベント出演。ClubMoveにてMinaku$aNightを4年間オーガナイズ。
その後大阪に拠点を移しChevalBLUE, Baron, SevenHouse, ALZARなどでプレイ。TechHouseを中心にオールジャンルで選曲するのが特徴。近年はdomus、moxy、SwitchBar,ZERROなどバーイベントを月12回ペースで開催し、カルチャーの発展を目指している。
