The Origin: Through time and space, good and evil have fought across the stars. With a troubled past, but finding a way to survive, thrive, and create a new world. The Monarch finds her path, but also an obstacle. A challenge from her past, a battle with her heart.
Who is the Monarch?
Inspired by her own journey, AmaLee (a voice actress, singer, and songwriter) created this character and her world. Even within a fantasy world, life finds a way to connect with art. This album tells her story, and what is yet to be. Each song within this album unfolds like a chapter within a book, telling a complete narrative and origin tale wrapped into one.

1] Rise of the Monarch (Intro)
The introduction track of the album, and an origin story. The emergence of the character, a beginning filled with heart, and despair. The birth of the Monarch.
2] From the Embers
Like a phoenix rising from the ashes. The old version of herself is long gone. Now the Monarch takes her true place
3] Metamorphosis
A darker toned track, but also light within. Someone hopeful, not broken, mending, and reborn. No longer whom she used to be, but something more powerful than before.
4] Monster U Made
A reflection of what was, and whom the Monarch became. From the past, to this new being: driven, focused, and unbreakable.
5] Villain Vibes (feat. Mori Calliope)
The Monarch spreads her wings, making a name for herself. But what is this other side? Not a follower, but a leader, causing chaos, while proving herself to others who knew the past. No longer whom she used to be. Pushing boundaries, motivated, and is not stopping if any obstacles get in her way.
6] MWTWB
A reflection of what the Monarch sees in the mirror. But beyond what she has accomplished, dreams, wishes, and even more. Also she is talking to someone within her presence, telling them what’s what. An enemy? A rival?
7] Drink Your Light
Continuing from the last song, that one that disrespected her.. their light becomes hers. A very pulse pounding track compared to the rest, delivering this “final boss” vibe. Something looming, dread, darkness, but you cannot escape it. Because it draws you in even more.
8] Call Me King
The final track within this album. It summarizes who the Monarch is, a place of her own, the throne. What was, will be. Now a formidable leader, someone who is hungry and seeks more.
By the way, the Monarch saga is an ongoing story. With more songs to come. “Rise of the Monarch” is an incredible album, telling a story that unfolds within eight chapters. AmaLee proves she is more than a voice actress, but an amazing singer, and songwriter, creating an immersive narrative. The journey continues…
