Yars Rising is an adaptation of a classic Atari game from awhile back. But the cool part about bringing back a classic? Give it a fresh concept, plus things up with its soundtrack. Originally Yars Revenge was an arcade shoot em up, a sidscroller where you move side to side going pew pew against baddies that come your way. Now with this new installment, it has taken on the form of a Search Action (think of Metroid). A 2D action platformer, where you explore the in game world in search of answers, plus solve puzzles.
Yars Rising Soundtrack is an awesome journey in various genres: from future funk, techno, synth and so much more. Bringing together an amazing array of talents that video game music fans will love. Plus the songs are also inspired by the past, incorporating different concepts in vgm many of us grew up with, especially that unforgettable beep boop sound the Atari was known for. Each track is connected to a stage, boss theme, and the story. Every level has a theme, and it keeps you motivated to keep playing, and explore.
