Last night, Gentle Ben’s held an awesome showcase of DJ’s delivering sick beats, crazy hype, and tons of dancing. The restaurant, and nightclub all in one is a great display of fun and entertainment. But with music at night, it raises the bar as locals get together, celebrating life and having a great time. Before the event started, people lined up, eager for the festivities, plus the awesome crew at Relentless Beats were awesome, friendly, and hyped to be there as well. I took the opportunity to talk with them, plus the venue staff. Both worked great together and enjoy holding events like this.
As I checked in, and made it to the line, there were a few people at first, and then it grew, and kept going till it took up a whole block and beyond. Making it upstairs at 9pm, the night sky was filled with stars. The nightclub area is setup with a great view of the city nearby, and open space so if you need to get some air. With the dining or chill area containing lots of space for everyone to relax and chill. Including the bar featuring a great selection of whatever you need.
But the main space, the dancing area, was a sweet surprise. It has a space that can hold tons of people, and with the music banging it delivers the energy of the music all around. Alex the Lad had his set playing first, featuring some tunes from his recent, and past releases, and a special mix for the night. The cool part about his set, every song just had this flow that gets you going, and you cannot help but feel that need to move. Eventually more people arrived, as the night went on. As the music builds, and more people feeling the vibe, there is no denying this night was special. Plus, the additional DJs brought their own unique style, Gunpoint brought some heavy tunes, which were excellent, and delivered lots of excitement. The main headlining artist Space Wizard wrapped the night with beats that shook up the dance floor. Within Space Wizard’s set, he played tunes from his recent album (which was awesome, and everyone was having a great time!)
Note: I danced pretty much the entire night.
To be there last night, feels unreal. From the music, energy, and atmosphere, it feels like it was a dream. I just wanted to say thanks to Relentless Beats for the invite, and your crew, you are awesome. And Gentle Ben’s, their entire staff, love you all. By the way I had some fun dancing with them as well.
