TECHNO TUESDAY: MAAT – Resiliencia EP

The first track on the EP, “Belgrano,” takes its time, and is no hurry to get anywhere. It’s a techno groover with really cool track development, featuring pleasingly pounding beats and a driving rhythmic melody.
The next track, “Hot Days in the Studio,” starts right off with a nice rhythm, and we soon hear the bottom-end bass enter in. Hypnotic, melodic motifs then follow throughout the duration of the track, transporting you to a late-night underground dance floor, or an after-party at a secret location.
