The awesome artist, known as Iketac returns with another amazing release. “Wasted Love” was brought out on Valentine’s Day. Usually it is the day to celebrate love, but that is where this song is a different experience. It unfolds, by telling a story within its lyrics and melody.
It opens up with the words of someone who has been through a journey with someone. Hopeful, but learned along the way. And if called upon, to talk, they will always be there. An outsider looking in, but also with a perspective, not in love, but still cares for the person that let them go from a relationship.
The lesson through this amazing song, is about love. But it can be more than one thing. Love can be compassionate, soulful, a connection, but also a bond that will never break. It is a kind of love that is supporting, a gift. But being separated from someone you care about, can feel like an obstacle course.
