Detroit’s DJ Cent debuts on Simmetry Sounds with rave-inspired anthem
A significant new release from a true architect of the Detroit scene. DJ Cent (Cynthia Travis) is releasing “Get Your Whistle” on the Simmetry Sounds label on March 6th, 2026.
As a protégé of the late K-Hand, DJ Cent’s sound is steeped in authentic Detroit house history. This track is a high-energy tribute to rave culture’s “whistle” tradition, capturing the collective energy she’s become known for during her sets at Movement Festival and sets at Detroit’s TV Lounge.
