Welcome back to another Discoveries with Summer Melody, where we continue to share our discovery of new artists and/or music from the melodic progressive community, from us on Summer Melody.
For today’s edition, since we are in the middle of the summer season, let’s provide/suggest 5 summer tunes that either we, Summer Melody, or other progressive labels have, to cool down or relax during these tough times, or hot season!
1. Heard Right – Reason
Our first selection is Heard Right’s self-released track, ‘Reason.’ We have been fans of his amazing melodic tracks as Jettan, but under his deeper Heard Right alias, he also provides great tunes. Delivering lush and deeper tones, the track already has depth from the bass, rhythmic percussions and silky vocals, great to start your summer morning.

2. Jerome Isma-Ae & Milkwish – No Time To Wait (Milkwish 4AM Mix) [Anjunabeats]
For our second selection, it is from the well-known Anjunabeats, which Milkwish’s own 4AM interpretation provides club-oriented deep progressions, as well as mesmerising beat and chords. Perfectly releases in mid-summer, this would become must-have in parties or your own bedroom listening experience.

3. Aaron Dmitriew – Soaring [Synth Collective]
Having a remix contribution on Summer Melody, Canadian-based Aaron Dmitriew is an uprising producer who often releases on the label Synth Collective. Under his new EP, with the aptly titled track, the skyline cruising vibe conveys with the upbeat tempo, solid bassline and joyful chords, as well as light reverbed vocal chops, like a long trip journey through the skies.

4. Josh Bailey – 123-XYZ (AOA Remix) [Alter Ego Progressive]
With the fourth selection, we have an upbeat remix from AOA on Alter Ego Progressive. Despite all festivals are unable to be made during this pandemic, this remix of Josh Bailey’s track certainly would provide you with party vibes and joy of celebration.

5. Lumidelic – Buried In The Snow [Summer Melody]
And of course, for our last selection, we have to include this wonderful track from veteran Lumidelic, which this track Buried In The Snow becomes our staple of the label. With the title it says, the lush melodies and soothing chords/pads provides a hint of breeze, bringing the cold winter feels to the hot summer season. And we are sensing some new adaptations that may arrive in September…
