Club GLOW drops September lineup

D.C.’s Club GLOW has officially dropped its September lineup, and as usual, it checks all the boxes. From big-name artists like Steve Aoki and Hardwell, to relative newcomers like WINSON and Slugg, their schedule will keep you bouncing all month long. Here’s a breakdown of each act.

Ape Drums

As one-third of the chart-topping group Major Lazer, Ape Drums has credentials that need no introduction. His signature style blends Caribbean and Latin American rhythms with irresistible pop hooks, guaranteeing a night on your feet. Expect a set that fuses the sounds that launched him to stardom with the energy that continues to define his career.

Steve Aoki

Does Steve Aoki even need an introduction? As one of the most recognizable names, faces, and sounds in electronic music, he’s become a rite of passage for anyone discovering EDM. His tracks are iconic, his DJ style infectious, and his shows speak for themselves.

Charlie Sparks

Charlie Sparkers thrives in a world of contrasts. Half-Japanese and half-British, he has always lived between two cultures. His high-energy sets pull from everything imaginable, from acid to UK bassline, making every show unpredictable and anything but boring.

Dimension

A master of crafting club anthems, Dimension delivers mesmerizing sets. His tracks feature catchy vocals made for chanting, singing, and even Instagram captions. While his shows are known for pyrotechnics and cutting-edge lighting that pull the audience into his world, even in a smaller venue than Electric Brixton, he is sure to bring the same electrifying energy.

Slugg

A businessman as much as a musician, Slugg has always forged his own path, even when the way forward wasn’t clear. As a founding member of the Miami-based collective House Keepers, he is equally at home on stage and behind the scenes. Drawing inspiration from ’90s hip-hop, his music embodies a relentless, move-forward-at-any-cost mentality.

RIOT

RIOT makes music that lives up to their name. The pair doesn’t just play a beat. They attack it, smash it over the head with a guitar, pick it up, chew it up, and spit it back out. Drawing heavily from the aggressive yet precise riffs of hardcore rock, they’ve carved out a sound that perfectly bridges the gap for the Warped Tour kids who grew up and found themselves at EDC.

Big Wild

Big Wild is the perfect example for anyone who thinks a DJ’s only job is to press buttons on stage. The Massachusetts native is a multi-instrumentalist, often playing the instruments he samples during his live sets. A natural performer, he’s impossible to take your eyes off, even when all you want to do is throw your head back and dance.

Blossom x Oliverse

Teaming up for one epic night, Blossom and Oliverse complement each other perfectly. Blossom’s drum and bass energy combined with Oliverse’s dubstep expertise creates a show that will keep you moving all night. As one of dubstep’s biggest names, Oliverse taking the stage alongside emerging talent is a thrilling glimpse at the next era of the genre.

SG Lewis

Another big name, SG Lewis has collaborated with everyone from Elton John to The Neptunes. His musical skill shines through every drop and transition. As a regular headliner, it’s exciting to see him bring his larger-than-life show to a smaller stage. This is your chance to experience him up close, without relying on big screens.

WINSON

WINSON represents the next generation of DJs. Born on TikTok, they quickly began booking gigs as their follower count soared. Their hard techno style commands attention, and their mixes, layering that sound over house anthems, fill a gap in the EDM world we didn’t even know existed. A true testament to how social media, especially short-form video, is shaping the future for artists.

NURKO

Born with music in his veins, NURKO has been on the circuit for nearly a decade, playing venues from Webster Hall to Lost Lands. His euphoric, airy sounds lift you above the crowd, creating a weightless experience despite the physical reality. Any melodic-bass fan should catch this set. Recently signing with Astralwerks, the label behind artists like Alison Wonderland and Chris Lake, his rise shows no signs of slowing.

Hoang

Hoang’s emotional tracks will have you reflecting just as much as you’re dancing. EDM can be many things, but emotion is often the element that gets overlooked. Unlike other genres, it doesn’t need lyrics or explicit messages to make an impact. Hoang flips that idea on its head. His songs could easily be ballads, yet he delivers them with driving drum kicks and bouncy synths.

TWINSICK

Beginning their journey as mashup and remix DJs, the duo started releasing their own music in 2020 to critical acclaim. Their shows are always high-energy, often dropping remixes that leave the crowd shouting “ID? ID?” Their original tracks are just as impressive, with a festival-ready sound that signals we’ll see them on a big stage soon.

Showtek

Another veteran of the scene, Showtek has played everywhere. His shows are a nonstop blast, delivering some of the most danceable tunes you’ll ever hear. Each track can transport you to another time, place, or even dimension. While he continues to release new hits, his classics remain the highlight of every show, giving the audience a chance to bask in the nostalgia of what once was.

RuPaul

RuPaul is the definition of an icon. A TIME 100 Most Influential Person, a 14-time Emmy winner, and the face of RuPaul’s Drag Race, he has accomplished more than most of us could imagine before some of us were even born. His shows are always overflowing with joy, love, and community.

OMNOM

OMNOM’s sound feels like a cloak, draping around you with heavy basslines and immersive percussion. Every now and then a shout will pull your attention, but a quick return to the beat keeps your heartbeat in check. His unique style has quickly drawn attention from some of the biggest names and promoters. OMNOM’s greatest strength is his ability to identify the musical elements that connect with listeners across EDM and weave them together into a delightfully unexpected mix.

YOOKie

YOOKiE’s sound is pure NYC. They specialize in sampling classic rock and chopping it into a whirlwind that feels like the subway rushing past at 100 mph—pleasant at first, until you realize it skipped your stop. Their experimental style means you might hear something you don’t immediately understand, but that’s part of the intrigue. Unapologetically challenging and authentic, YOOKiE is impossible not to follow.

Hardwell

Hardwell is back! A pioneer in hardstyle, his beats will move faster than your feet can follow. His remixes are always the highlight of every set, breathing new life into tracks past their radio days and creating fresh festival anthems. His performances are larger than life, just like him. Watch too long and it’s like staring at the sun. Your retinas might burn, but it will be worth every second.

Da Tweekaz

Hard dance duo Da Tweekaz are masters of energy. Their movements behind the decks generate a force that explodes into the crowd when they touch the volume dial, instantly creating a sea of ravers. Their beats spark a fist-pumping frenzy that can only be satisfied with more bass, more drops, and more of them.

Dillon Francis

Dillon Francis is a true star of the scene, with a résumé that spans nearly every city and festival imaginable. His unmatched energy keeps each set fresh, leaving fans wanting more every time. Lately, he has leaned into house, channeling euphoric sounds that reflect both the music and the world around him. Seeing him live is like watching a match ignite: bright, chaotic, and impossible to look away from, but ultimately comforting in its warmth.

Calussa

The Miami duo have built their reputation by leaning into their roots. Over the years, they’ve established themselves as Afrobeat masters, earning praise and support from some of the industry’s biggest names. No matter the venue, their sound carries you straight to sun-soaked beaches and white sand shores.

Tchami x AC Slater

Another B2B is hitting the GLOW lineup this September, this time pairing house icon Tchami with bass heavyweight AC Slater. Both veterans of the scene, they’ve collaborated with nearly everyone and consistently delivered. Their set promises a masterclass in back-to-back performance, blending two subgenres that often collide but, in the right hands, can create unforgettable harmony.

NOTD

NOTD rounds out September’s lineup. After breaking through with pop remixes, the duo shot to fame with their 2019 single “So Close.” Their sound still carries those pop roots, layered with dance-floor ready beats. Expect a set packed with remixes so good you may never want to hear the originals again.
