ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: DAICHI KATSUREN

Daichi Katsuren’s biography:

In 2016, started DJ activities in Tokyo under the name of take.
In 2021, Cyanotype was recorded in Tokyo Essence Vol.2 of Housetribe Recordings and released for the first time. In the same year, Mirage EP was released from Tentaculos Records in Spain.
In 2022, he started activities under his current name, Daichi Katsuren. Released Shigira EP from Portugal’s Lisbon Journeys Records, Morning Glow EP from Mexico’s Redlof Records, and Four winds EP from Mexico’s Severus Records. Shigira EP charted in Beatport’s Techno (Raw/Deep/Hypnotic) Top 100 Release.
In 2023, the Journey Begins the Remixes Vol.3 released from Lisbon Journeys Records in January provides two remixes, Just and Some Kind Of Nightmare.
Focusing on Peaktime Techno and Raw Techno, he produces Tech House and Progressive House, and actively performs DJ and Live activities mainly in Tokyo.

2022年、現在の名義であるDaichi Katsurenとして活動を開始。ポルトガルのLisbon Journeys RecordsよりShigira EP、メキシコのRedlof RecordsよりMorning Glow EP、同じくメキシコのSeverus RecordsよりFour winds EPをリリース。Shigira EPがBeatportのTechno(Raw/Deep/Hypnotic)Top100 Releaseにチャートインした。
2023年は1月にLisbon Journeys RecordsからリリースされたThe Journey Begins the Remixes Vol.3にJust、Some Kind Of Nightmareの2つのRemixを提供している。
Peaktime TechnoやRaw Technoを中心にTech HouseやProgressive Houseを製作しており、都内を中心にDJやLive活動を精力的に行なっている。
