Events company Neon Owl starts new label, “Neon Owl Records”

Kicks off with debut release, “Fallen Angel,” by Hidden Axis & WISNER

I first met Elaine Huang, founder of events company Neon Owl, back in 2019 or so at a cafe in San Francisco. Elaine is a veritable dynamo within the dance music industry, connecting electronic dance music fans, singers, producers, event promoters, and other industry insiders through her company’s “Open Door Sessions.”

Since then, through attending some of Neon Owl’s Open Door Sessions events, I have met some very cool electronic music producers, singer/songwriters, and events company heads. In fact, Neon Owl and Open Door Sessions were likely a big influence on why I started the Electrofans Connect industry group, and our “Listening Lounge” track preview sessions. Just like us here at Electrofans, Neon Owl has always been about community and bringing like-minded, serious electronic music creators together. I would consider Neon Owl to be one of the most important and influential events presentation companies in today’s dance music industry.

In a pretty natural extension, after celebrating their 10 year anniversary as a company back in March, Elaine and Neon Owl have just recently launched their own record label, Neon Owl Records!

It’s a nice slice of modern bass music & melodic dubstep.

Today is an exciting day! We have officially released our new imprint Neon Owl Records!

Our very first release “Fallen Angel” is out now featuring the incredibly talented Hidden Axis and the versatile WISNER.

Having built and grown our community for over 10 years now (Neon Owl), we decided it was finally time to launch a label that is for the artists first.

If you have been to any of our curated shows, or Open Door Sessions (in person or virtual), you know how important fostering community is for us.

Julie and Blake first met nearly 3 years ago on a Neon Owl Mastermind session, and they hit it off immediately. When we initially heard the combination of Julie’s dark and moody production paired with Blake’s range, we knew this was a match made in heaven.

We hope that you love “Fallen Angel” as much as we do – out on all platforms now!
