Earlier this year, the amazing duo released “Crying on the Dance Floor”. Krewella is still cooking up more ideas, this next release has been one of those songs years in the making. Even though it was written some time ago, the lyrics and vocals delivers a fresh perspective and vibe, of life, art, and expression. It is a song about growth of self, broken, mending, healing, but also learning more about who you are, and want to be.
Within the tune is this melodic journey of sights and sounds, it feels like a rollercoaster ride of emotions connecting through each wave, and the highs and lows have this flow that sings to your heart and soul. Which is another aspect that they are diving into, the meaning of one’s soul, spirit, and sense of self. The lyrics and vocals within “Eternal” go on a journey with its listener, it is hypnotic which makes you want to get up dance, but listening to it, there is something inside like a gift you have been waiting for, and it is there, all along.
When I wrote about their previous album, it felt like a chapter of a book still filling its pages. Expressing every part through each song, I have this feeling, the forthcoming album containing this song, and many more will be incredible. I cannot wait to see what Krewella has in store. Jahan & Yasmine are amazing artists, and I love what they have made, especially this tune.
